Job Duties
Performing diagnostics and data recovery on single drives and multi-disk configurations with mechanical issues, including but not limited to failing read and write heads, stuck spindles, failed motors and PCB boards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in mechanical or electrical engineering or computer science-related studies
- Minimum 3 years of experience in data recovery, mechanical engineering, or computer programming fields.
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience with Linux-based operating systems such as Ubuntu or Centos
- Programming experience with C#, Java, .Net2.0, Apache is not required but recommended
- Knowledge and experience with Microsoft and Unix file system level hex editing

Performing diagnostics and data recovery procedures on single hard drives with logical issues, including but not limited to deleted data, firmware correction, and bad boot sectors
Requirements
- Associate’s degree or higher in mechanical/electrical engineering or computer-related studies
- Minimum 1 year of experience in data recovery, mechanical engineering, or computer programming fields
- Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience with Linux-based operating systems such as Ubuntu or Centos

Performing diagnostics and data recovery procedures on storage devices with logical issues, including but not limited to deleted data and firmware correction.
Requirements
- Associate’s degree or higher in a technical field
- Minimum 1 year of repairing and recovering logically inaccessible data from storage media
- In-depth knowledge of PC repair, troubleshooting disk drives and tapes
- Ability to repair hardware to make storage devices temporarily accessible
